We are in the mood to be succinct. Here it goes:

Kristin Cavallari and Anne Hathaway are both:

- on the red carpet;

- in the same position;

- in silver, strapless, knee-length dresses that also happen to accentuate the waist with belts;

- wearing black platform shoes;

- skinny.

Kristin is blonde, Anne is brunette, Kristin is tanned, Anne is pale.

P.S. I say the weight loss is not agreeing with Anne’s facial features.

Anne Hathaway Got Skinnier

I am not gonna say that Anne Hathaway got skinny, but I will say that she got skinnier. What shows it? Well, for starters, the face, which seems to have lost a bit of its fullness and the legs. Now even if some of you might argue with me and say that she’s not yet in the skinny department, you have to agree that those are some pretty thin legs.

It’s pretty clear that Anne was not as thin some months ago and definitely not as thin some years ago, when some were remembering her precisely because of curves. So, how do you like Anne’s skinnier figure?

Then and Now: Anne Hathaway

We recently established that Anne Hathaway has been losing weight. Click here to see exhibit A! The above is, you guessed, exhibit B.

On the left, we’ve got Anne 4 years ago, with a curvy and healthy figure, a slight belly bulge (unforgiving fabric, that’s why) and a round, fresh-looking face.

In the middle, we’ve got Anne 1 year ago and even though the intense make-up was not helping in a youthful direction, Anne’s healthy-looking body and curves were still present.

On the right, there’s Anne 2 days ago, not looking like her former self: very skinny legs and arms, bony shoulders and a much slimmer face.

We were worried for a little while that Anne was entering the “super skinny body and gaunt face” territory, especially whenwe sawthis picture.In the above photos Anne does look slim, she does look slimmer than before, yet the difference is not as “oh my God!” worthy.

Anne Hathaway in a Little Black Dress

OK, I am split in two:

On one hand, love the look. The unexpected bob hairstyle, the classy little black dress with a twist (as in the puffy sleeves), the sleek appearance, the great legs, the shiny hair & shiny dress combo.

On the other hand, I dislike the look. The disproportionate, unbalanced effect that the massive shoulders of the dress visually create on Anne’s skinny body with very narrow hips. I bet the dress would have created an optically perfect result on a pear body shape.

How do you feel about it?
