Ashlee Simpson - Can We See the Mom-to-Be Spark?

After joggling with pregnant? o, I not?(suspense equals constant publicity), following the well known recipe of all Hollywood soon-to-be moms, little miss Simpson or the media (no, nobody is sure) decided that future misses Wentz is, indeed, pregnant and told the world. Miss Simpson sure looks fit and slim now and, in case she is as pregnant as US Weekly says, it will definitely be entertaining to see how much (or how little) weight she will put on, how fast or how sudden she will gain and so on (yes, we could build graphics). Now the blue flared coat she has on is a great investment, considering that, even an 8 months baby bump can hide in there quite comfortably.

Ashlee Simpson Confirms Pregnancy and Looks Like This

Not only did Ashlee finally confirm that she is expecting a baby, but she also confirmed that she is in her second semester - wow! Ashlee said she wanted to wait until after the first semester to confirm the news - or, as we, the suspicious minds might put it, until she got enough “oh I’m pregnant, oh I’m not” publicity.

What can we say? We can definitely say that she hasn’t gained any weight at all to this point and looks borderline slim to skinny. There will be updates on how big Ashlee’s belly (and other) will grow!

Yes, this is the Simpson’s day - first dressy Jessica and now pregnant Ashlee. But as I promised, we’ve got to bring on the updateson Ashlee Simpson’s belly bulge, a belly bulge who won’t become noticeable just yet. In fact, I do spot some extra pounds on Ashlee, especially in the hip area, but that could be just the dress playing its unflattering mission.

OK, so you are wondering how comeI have already written some lines without mentioning the so-out-there cleavage and boobs coming out of the very low cut dress, without a bra underneath and “oh my God, I though Jessica was the booby one”, but just so you know, I won’t say a thing.

Ashlee and Jessica Simpson: Flowy Dresses Style

Umm, excuse me for the observation, but I’m a little confused at this point on who the pregnant Simpson is. I think it might be Jessica after all - or it might be the fact that yet again, Jess didn’t exactly follow my advices on how to dress for her V body shape (I spot improvement since last time, though).

Now Ashlee on the other hand, that dress is definitely forher growing baby bump: comfy enough to accommodate the bulge and perfectly cut to make Ashlee seem like the skinny sister,even though she’s in her second pregnancy trimester.

Update on Ashlee Simpson

Ashlee Simpson confirmed her pregnancy at the beginning of June, when she also said that she waited till she reached her second trimester to share the highly expected news with us.

Well, in this case, the above candid is presenting Ashlee and her baby bump in the middle of the second trimester - which is around the time when many pregnant bellies basically pop up over night and the body is going through a lot of changes - remember Jessica Alba?

Looking at this picture of Ashlee, I’m thinking that one day *sooner than everybody’s expecting, thanks to Ashlee’sstill-very-slim-body)she’ll pop and we’ll all say “Whaaat? So soon?”.

Ashlee’s definitely still walking on skinny legs (even with the flattering black & tight combo and all), she’s still sporting her angular face and well, we can only assume that she’s got her baby bump comfortably hiding under the loose top and must-have-when-pregnant-huge-bag.

Tabloid Says Ashlee Simpson Gained Too Much Weight; Ashlee Says It

This is a fun one - just shows you what some tabloids are capable of inventing. In this case, Star Magazine got really creative when they said that Ashlee Simpson has gained too much weight during her pregnancy. Here’s what they had to say:

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is looking for inspiration to adopt healthier dieting practices after the pregnant singer was told that she has gained too much weight during a recent prenatal visit.

shlee broke down in tears at a doctor appointment in early August when she found out she gained more weight than is considered in the healthy range,?a Star source says.

A long-faced Ashlee immediately took a trip to Malibu Planet Blue and stocked up on six pairs of size zero jeans to motivate her to curtail her eating:

he can wear them now, but she hopes it will give her the incentive to watch what she eats.?/p>

Ashlee will welcome her first child with husband Pete Wentz in October.

But wait, that’s not all - Ashlee promptly responded on her MySpace page, saying that it was all untrue. Here’s what Ashlee said:

Today I read on a blog that I went to the doctor and he said I was overweight and I cried and went to Planet Blue (because I was blue) and bought 6 pair of size 0 jeans. Now it is ridiculous to read such nonsense about oneself so I thought I would address this one…

1. My doctor says I am right on target with my weight gain

2. Have not been to Planet Blue in at least two years

3. Love my maternity jeans ..they have stretchy tops it is awesome!

4. My closet full of size 0’s are being worn by Pete right now and he looks hot in them

So now that I have cleared that up let me tell you…carrying a child is the most inspiring, emotional, amazing experience of my life. My weight and my pant size are the absolute last thing I am concerned about. I am only concerned with having a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. People who talk and judge pregnant women’s weight need to get a life!!!

Pregnant Angelina Jolie in a Flowy Dress

Angelina Jolie sure loves those long, large and flowy dresses that she wears both on the red carpet and when walking through the city. Now the dress doesn’t let us guess her exact shape or the number of pounds she has put on since she got pregnant, because it is not exactly tight spandex that explodes on her curves. But looking at Angie’s arms, we can definitely say that she hasn’t gained substantial amounts of weight. In fact, her arms are pretty skinny and we know that she is hiding her trademark skinny legs under the dress, as well.

Now I know why Angelina was wearing all those long and large dresses that didn’t even let us guess her figure - ok, I admit, purse speculation, but still a possible reason - to avoid being targeted with comments such as: “Oh my God look how thin her legs are and she is about to pop!”. And since she is wearing pants this time, we can actually see and not just intuit that her legs are, indeed still very skinny, just like we said about her arms some days ago.
